Cablecraft’s Aircraft cable assemblies are integral to the safety and convenience of today’s modern aircraft. Control cables refer to all push/pull assemblies which utilize an internal core and external conduit. The core is typically made up of woven wire strands which operate within an enclosed conduit. The operating characteristics (efficiency, backlash, and minimum bend radii) are determined by the materials of construction and size of the core and conduit.
Used in both primary and redundant applications, our products are used in flight control systems as well as in-cabin products for commercial, military, and general aviation including light sport aircraft. Working directly with OEM aircraft manufacturers, tier one integrators, and repair & overhaul, Cablecraft’s engineering team has provided solutions for flight controls, seat releases, in-service equipment and other products which meet or exceed all quality and performance specifications. In-house testing capabilities to ensure design integrity for a lifetime of performance.
